Unemployment in Haiti is nearly 45% with half of the population living on less than $2.00 per day. We believe sustainable, income producing jobs are as much a critical need in Haiti as education and health care. There are very few employment opportunities to help create jobs, especially in rural Haiti. NCDC believes Haiti has an abundance of natural resources that can be developed as well as excellent prospects for growing commercially viable products on a very large scale.
